Mariachi Club

Welcome to the Mariachi Club. The EAHS Mariachi Club was founded two years. Jose Soto, a former EAHS student and professional Mariachi player, together with Brian Ferrel, a former EAHS teacher, started the Mariachi Club in 2012.

Jose Soto and two of his Mariachi band mates, who are current Elsie Allen High School students, teach aspiring student musicians once a week. Faculty advisor, Mr. Salkovics, plays the Guitarron.  We learn about classical Mariachi music and culture.

In the future, we plan on traveling to Mariachi competitions and performing for community events. If you are interested in playing Mariachi music, please join us.  

No musical experience is necessary.
